This Week’s WWE Raw Drops Below 3 Million Viewers and Draws Lowest Non-Holiday Number Since the Move to Three Hours

According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, this week’s edition of WWE Raw, featuring a guest appearance by Daniel Bryan and a United States Title main event, averaged 2.911 million viewers which was down over 400,000 from from last week’s 3.314 million viewership average.

This week’s show dropped for the second consecutive week since the official brand split, and below is this week’s hourly breakdown.

-The first hour averaged 2.950 million viewers

-The second hour averaged 2.974 million viewers

-The third hour averaged 2.809 million viewers

It’s also worth noting this week’s WWE Raw is the first episode since the show moved to 3 hours back in July of 2012 in which all three hours of the broadcast took in less than 3 million viewers. Additionally, this week’s show is only the second time since Raw moved to three hours that the entire episode dropped under 3 million viewers. It’s also the least watched non-holiday episode of Raw since the three hour move.

Last night’s Raw finished #1 on cable TV overall for the night, and #2 in the 18-49 demographic, behind “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.” Raw was up against coverage of The Olympics, which took in an average of 28.8 million viewers.
