The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting Mahal will likely appear on RAW; it was also said Brian Myers was another name likely to return, and he would probably use his former ‘Curt Hawkins’ name on Smackdown. MVP has denied a return to the company after his name was mentioned by Teddy Long on a podcast, and Stevie Richards is expected back, but these remain unconfirmed.

WWE is reportedly looking to bring back some past talent to help work with and put over newer talents; Rhyno and Shelton Benjamin are two of the confirmed names to return as Rhyno made a live appearance and a promo for Benjamin aired on Smackdown this week.

The Fertittas

UFC owners The Fertittas are reportedly looking to put up land in Las Vegas to build a football stadium in hopes of attracting a NFL team. It had been previously rumored that Lorenzo Fertitta was looking to sell hotel properties on the strip to purchase and fund a stadium.

Deadline.com is reporting Adam “Edge” Copeland is the fifth season of the History Channel’s series ‘Vikings’ in a recurring role. According to Deadline, Copeland will play “Ketill Flatnose, a fierce and brave warrior, chosen by Floki to be one of the leaders of the Viking party intent on traveling to Iceland to set up a community there.”
