Lashley said that you fight with your hands, not a bunch of circus tricks. Lashley congratulated Edwards and said he had a huge decision to make. Lashley said it should be very simple in that Edwards should keep his title and continue to reign as X Champion because you’re not ready for this.
Eddie Edwards & Bobby Lashley In-Ring Promo:
When Eddie woke up this morning he was not the X-Division, but thanks to Mike Bennett running his mouth, Edwards took advantage of the opportunity and captured his second X-Division Championship. Edwards says that he’s been a tag team champ and X-Division, but he’s never had a opportunity to be the man in TNA. Lashley comes down to the ring. Lashley says that Edwards is a nice guy, but he doesn’t want him to make a mistake.
Lashley informs Edwards that if he cashes in Option C, he’ll rip out the soul of the X-Division. Lashley also says that Edwards can go home and save himself. Edwards says that he should make the smart move, but his heart is bringing to him to a different direction. Edwards announces that he’s catching Option C. Jeremy Borash announces that at Destination X it will be Eddie Edwards vs. Bobby Lashley in the main event. Lashley drops Edwards with the belly to belly suplex. Edwards responds with a flying knee and Lashley rolls out of the ring.
