On whether or not Triple H winning the Royal Rumble and going in to WrestleMania 32 as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion is best for business:
AK: Yes, I believe it is. It kind of sounds on paper like, “Oh, it’s Triple H, the executive putting himself over.” But this is what had to happen. You know that the original plan was probably Triple H and The Rock. They’ve done a good job teasing that. Obviously that has fallen through. Then Triple H and Rollins seemed to be the direction for awhile but Rollins got hurt. This is just another alternative in a year where WWE has had a high amount of injuries. Now WWE has to shift gears. Having the heel as the champion going in to WrestleMania creates that babyface chase that’s always so intriguing. It always seems to do better business wise when it comes to WrestleMania.
On who he thinks should win the triple threat main event at Fastlane and go on to face Triple H at WrestleMania:
AK: I think definitely Roman Reigns. They already have the story built in. Roman Reigns and Triple H is something that has been teased, really, dating back to 2014. It’s something that we’ve expected to see. For a rivalry to go on this long without having a one-on-one match has protected it so that there will be a lot of intrigue for a one-on-one match. Roman Reigns vs Triple H. To put anybody else in that position it’s like you’re immediately shifting gears with only a month left until WrestleMania. You would not be able to sell the potential for that match in that short of an amount of time.
