The following results are tonight’s WWE Main Event taping results from tonight’s WWE television tapings at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey:
New WWE Champion Roman Reigns kicks the show off, talking about how great Monday night was. Sheamus cuts him off and makes a joke about Reigns’ holding the title longer than at Survivor Series, and that he’ll get his title back soon. Sheamus talks about the way Reigns won the title and says he’s banned from the arena until further notice. Security guards come out to make Reigns leave, but he beats them all up.
Alberto Del Rio defeated Ryback
– This was a non-title match. The League of Nations (Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett) interferes and Alberto won with a Cross Armbreaker. The League beat Ryback up some more after the bell.
– Tyler Breeze cut a promo that was interrupted by Goldust
Titus O’Neil defeated Tyler Breeze
– Titus won with Clash of the Titus. Goldust ended up walking out to Breeze’s VIP Section at ringside and distracted Breeze, setting Titus up to get the win.
The Lucha Dragons defeated The New Day
– Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods worked for The New Day in a non-title match. Kalisto ended up getting the win by rolling Kofi up in the corner.
