Rumor Killer on Recent WWE Talent Signings

stingEarlier this week it was reported elsewhere that several indy talents have signed deals with WWE, and are waiting to pass medical tests before the deals are finalized.

According to PWInsider.com, some of the names floating around who were reportedly signed were not in fact offered contracts, and there have been many cases, examples being Nigel McGuinness, Willie Mack and BoKu Dao, where contracts were offered, but later rescinded before they were finalized. So if there hasn’t been any real confirmation of new WWE talent signings than any names being reported as signed should be regarded as rumors.

What we do know for sure is that Japanese wrestler Kanna, who appeared at NXT Takeover Brooklyn, dropped the REINA World Womens Championship this week, a title she won back in 2014. REINA also noted Kanna is leaving the promotion, so it is likely she has signed a deal with WWE.

Sting’s Status for WWE Raw on Monday

With regards to Sting appearing on Raw next week, he was not originally scheduled to be on the show, however, the WWE creative team changed plans today to include him on the show Monday night.

WWE Interested in Tough Enough Finalist?

As noted, WWE Tough Enough finalist Amanda was backstage at WWE’s TV tapings this week, and flew to Orlando after last night’s taping. Since Amanda lives in New York and is now in Orlando, it appears WWE might be interested in her, post-Tough Enough, since they brought her into to the TV tapings this week.
