TNA Impact Wrestling Results

April 3rd 2015

Report by Bill Pritchard for Wrestlezone.com

Eric Young comes to the ring and says tonight he puts the final nail in Bobby Roode’s sad and pathetic career. Roode says he’s kicked his ass enough times and made sure he didn’t get up from a last man standing match, but he will make sure this ends tonight. Eric says he will do whatever it takes, and he will make him submit so he could break Roode’s will. Roode says is he wants a submission match he’s got it, but he will make Eric tap, and cry like the little bitch that he is.

Submission Match

Bobby Roode vs Eric Young

Roode rushes the ring and stomps Eric a few times, then he whips him outside and stomps him several times. Eric regains control and attacks Roode in the corner, then he charges him but Roode sweeps his legs and goes for a Crossface. Eric rolls outside so Roode chases him and slams him on the ramp, then he rolls him in and stomps him in the corner. Roode gets caught with an elbow, but he comes back with a Blockbuster off the ropes and grabs at his knee. He slams Eric on the ramp and struggles to put weight on his leg as we go to a break, then we get back to see Eric clip Roode’s knee on the floor.

Eric brings Roode back in the ring and continues to work on his knee, then Roode comes back with a Crossface attempt. He locks it in, but Eric breaks it at the ropes, so Roode applies a Boston crab and pulls him to the center of the ring. Eric makes it to the bottom rope to break, then they trade chops as they get up and fight into the corner. The ref accidentally gets bumped, then Roode makes Eric tap to a Crossface but the ref is trying to get back up and misses it. Roode checks on him but Eric catches him with a leg lariat, then he puts Roode in the Figure Four and forces him to tap out.

Winner – Eric Young

BP: I like how they worked the injury into the match, and Eric used some good heel tactics in the win. Each one of their matches so far has been exciting, and all feel like a different pace.
