Details On WWE Network Update For Canadian Subscribers, WWE Hall Of Famer Getting Renovation Show On DIY Network

WWE Network is now available on the WWE App for Android and iOS devices, and computers for Canadian subscribers. The network was previously only available through cable and satellite providers in Canada. 

In addition, WWE announced a new App update that features a redesigned user interface, and the ability to zoom/enlarge the player to fit the entire device screen. 

I Pity The Tool

WWE Hall Of Famer Mr. T is getting a new home renovation show on the DIY Network this year, appropriately titled I Pity The Tool. 

Mr. T and his team, including “HGTV Design Star” winner Tiffany Brooks, will do demolition and remodeling work to existing and outdated homes. Variety noted their celebrity-hosted shows are successful for them because of the “built-in fanbases” the stars bring to the shows. 

BP: I agree with the network’s assessment of celebrity hosts; some of the better shows on HGTV and Food Network feature celebrity hosts who have great presonalities, and are also good at what their show is about. While I do like a lot of regular shows hosted by contractors and designers, most of their personalities are not enough for a host, or just plain obnoxious.
