All WrestleMania 31 “Main Events” Confirmed; Updated Match Card Including 7 Bouts, New Title Match Added, Undertaker’s Return & More

With the announcement that the Undertaker will return to face Bray Wyatt, all the perceived “main events” for this year’s WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view have been officially confirmed.

Below is the updated match card for this year’s big event, as well as all the rumors and notes we’ve collected so far.

WRESTLEMANIA 31

Santa Clara, CA

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match

Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns

Triple H vs. Sting

The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt

United States Title Match

John Cena vs. Rusev

Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

Barrett (c) vs. Harper vs. Truth vs. Ambrose vs. Ziggler

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

AJ Lee & Paige vs. The Bella Twins

Notes:

-Battle Royal participants include: The Miz, Curtis Axel, Ryback, Fandango, Adam Rose, Zack Ryder, Jack Swagger, Titus O’Neil, Darren Young, Big Show, Kane, Erick Rowan (new), Damien Mizdow (new)

Daniel Bryan is expected to be added to the Intercontinental Championship ladder match.

Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins should be announced on Smackdown this week, or on Monday Night Raw next week. The match is definitely 100% happening at this point.

-Stardust has still not been announced for the I.C. title ladder match, and it’s possible WWE is still looking to run with a singles match with Goldust instead.

-With multiple teams circling the WWE tag titles currently, it’s expected that a 4-way match will be announced for WrestleMania soon.

This still feels to me like an elevated SummerSlam card with an Undertaker match. There’s so many unknown factors that it’s hard to tell if we should be invested. Can the Undertaker still go? Can Sting still go? Can Wyatt and Triple H carry them if they can’t? Can Roman and Brock pull good matches out of each other? There’s certainly a lot to be hopeful for here – just not a lot to be certain of. Some things are definitely clicking (Wyatt, Orton, Heyman, ladder match), and the buzz will set in the week-of WrestleMania like it always does, but I’m just not “feeling it” yet.
