Charlotte Talks NXT And The Current Group Of Women Wrestlers, Being A Part Of Wrestlemania, Why She Wants To Change The Impression Of Her Division

nxtFormer NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte recently spoke to Fansided SI earlier this week, discussing her appearances on RAW and at Wrestlemania XXX, being an important part of the NXT roster, how she views the current group of NXT Women’s wrestlers, and more. You can read a few excerpts below:

Charlotte on Triple H’s entrance at WrestleMania XXX:

“Honestly, I think the WrestleMania thing was more personal than anything. That show was the first one I was there without my little brother. It was emotional because I was going to each and every show the last few years with me entire family. To walk out on that grand stage in front of 80,000 people is the most electrifying feeling. Triple H also hand selected us which was extra special because he could have hired models instead. But he picked us and it was such a great honor.”

Charlotte Talks NXT Women, And Changing the perception of Divas being “bathroom break” matches:

“Hearing that is extremely frustrating because it will change. If they were able to play our matches on Raw it would be great to show that the women can work like men. I’m not saying the Divas on the roster now aren’t capable of doing that but the training in NXT has really helped us. I think over the years with the Divas searches and very little training makes it hard to make the division legitimate. I hope over my career that they don’t like at our matches as a ‘popcorn match.’ I truly believe we are paving the way for a great division.”
