Mickie JamesAs we previously reported, a photo of Triple H and UFC star Jon “Bones” Jones at a Super Bowl after party was posted on Twitter, and it’s being said Jones’ management tried to broker a deal to get Jones to appear at a WrestleMania a couple of years back, with the idea it would expose him to a new audience. For whatever reason, the deal went nowhere.

As noted, Mickie James made her return to TNA during the company’s overseas tour, but she did not wrestle any matches. James was reportedly brought in for the tour to be a part of Magnus’ face turn story line with Bram.

James is engaged to Magnus in real life, and TNA wanted to turn Magnus face while in the U.K., where the turn would get over better, with the idea of him being the British babyface star. It is possible Mickie James could work more dates but the original booking plan was just for the tour.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
