TNA is reported to be talking to Destination America this week about a possible TV deal for Impact Wrestling. Destination is a cable channel that is part of the Discovery Network, and is available in approximately half of the country, around 60 million homes.

Sources are saying Destination will know before the end of this week whether they will have a deal or not, but these ongoing negotiations have nonetheless continued to frustrate TNA talent. Even though no deal has been reached yet, some TNA talent have been told Spike is a frontrunner and a deal will be announced soon, trying to keep morale up. There are conflicting reports, however, that say Spike isn’t in the running anymore.

As far as Spike’s remaining TV schedule airing Impact goes, the last first-run episode of Impact Wrestling will air next week on November 19th, and then it will be pre-empted on November 26th for Thanksgiving. After that, the plan is to air three weeks of “Best Of” shows on December 3rd, 10th and 17th. It is believed that Spike would again preempt Impact on Christmas Eve (12/24) and New Year’s Eve (12/31), but Spike officials continue to say no decision has been made.
