Although Chris Hero has made a few appearances for Ring of Honor since his WWE release, apparently he didn’t want to be locked down with signing a contract that would limit him from making certain indie appearances. His last match for the promotion was on March 8th against then-ROH World Champion Adam Cole.
Where Could the TNA Roster Go?
The Ring of Honor full-time roster is apparently packed right now, and there isn’t a lot of room for bringing in more talent. This is especially important if TNA isn’t 
able to find a new location for Impact Wrestling, and is forced to close down later this year. The Observer is reporting that top names like Samoa Joe and Eddie Edwards – people the promotion is familiar with – would be given dates if they wanted them, but in terms of taking on a lot of the good talent on Impact, ROH is already struggling to use the talent they already have.
As far as the rest of the TNA roster, Tigre Uno could probably return to Mexico, Sanada always has Wrestle-1 in Japan. The bigger names – Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, James Storm – probably wouldn’t have trouble finding work, possibly even WWE, and the MMA fighters still have Bellator. New Japan is already loaded up with American talent, so that leaves a lot of mid-card talent that would be fighting for spots on the indie scene. Both Davey Richards and Kenny King have some drama with ROH due to the way they left, so it would be surprising to see either guy show up.
TNA officials have promised the roster “good news” in two weeks at the next Impact Wrestling taping event. If a deal can be reached with Spike TV, or a new home found for the show, this obviously won’t be a major issue.
