Ring of Honor “Best in the World” Results: Adam Cole Defends Against Michael Elgin, Bad Influence Returns to ROH, Kevin Steen’s Last Ride

-There are some people interviewing a former NFL Atlanta Falcons player, turned Ring of Honor star named Moose. They are cut off by Veda Scott, who talks about RD Evans ridiculous streak. She offers her "services" to big Moose, who says he wants to talk about it later.

Kevin Steen vs. Silas Young

This might just be the last time you see Kevin Steen in a Ring of Honor ring, and this crowd knows it. Tons of "Kill Steen Kill" chants and "ole!" chants and a bath of streamers welcoming him back.

He comes off the apron with a cannonball splash to start the match. Silas builds up a head of steam with clotheslines – somebody starts a "let's go Silas" chant, and the rest of the building responds with "shut the f*** up". He gets in about a dozen knee drops to the body of Steen, who recovers with a few knife-edge chops. Steen hits a huge powerbomb and both guys are down. He huts a big DDT for a close two-count, and the fans are still chanting Kevin's name. He runs into a big boot from Young, but kicks out easily. They trade forearm shots, which does not turn out well for Silas. Steen uses a pumphandle neckbreaker and gets a nearfall. Young gets thrown face-first into the turnbcuklle and Kevin follows up with the cannonball splash. He heads up to the top rope and lands the massive senton for two. Both guys are down, but Young finds some momentum deep down and comes out of nowhere with a backbreaker. He follows up with a massive rolling senton on the big man, before stomping away on Steen in the corner. They brawl to the top rope and Steen comes back, hitting a suplex from on high. He sets up for the package piledriver, nails it, and picks up the 1-2-3.

Winner: Kevin Steen

-The crowd sets in immediately with a loud "thank you Steen" chant. He grabs a microphone and calls out Silas Young for questioning his manhood. He calls him a bitter jerk and an asshole, but also calls him an "exceptional professional wrestler" and gives him respect for going after the top guy in Ring of Honor. He says his ROH contract is almost up, but he has a month left and will enjoy every minute he got to spend with the fans, and is glad he got to wrestle Silas Young before he leaves. He extends his hand, Young shakes it, and leaves with his head held high. Kevin starts to thank Nashville for a great run, but Young comes back and attacks him from behind, stomping away at his knee.
