ROH Death Before Dishonor Now Available for On-Demand Purchase, Possible Reason for WWE 2K14 Exclusions

ROH Event Now On-Demand

Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor XI is now available on-demand through ROHWrestling.com. The event costs $14.99, with Ringside Members getting the usual discount. ROH tried a new iPPV service last week, giving away the show for free to test the waters, following issues with online streaming in the past. Unfortunately, the iPPV was plagued by similar issues. The on-demand version available now is the complete event, including the crowning of a new ROH World Champion, and is free of issues.

Update: WWE 2K14 Exclusions

Earlier today we posted about several names that were curiously left off the WWE 2K14 roster, including Fandango, the Wyatt Family, and more. In past years, when WWE Games were being created by THQ, the company used WrestleMania as a general cut-off point for which Superstars would be included in the game. This is because it takes a lot of work to prepare everything for each character's model, especially when it comes to motion capture, which they use to make each Superstar feel as realistic as possible. Fandango and Big E Langston remain the two exceptions to this, however both made their in-ring debut at or near to WrestleMania.

WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper has been making noise on social media for several weeks about not being including in WWE 2K14. The main theme of this year's game is "30 Years of WrestleMania", which takes some of the biggest matches from each year's classic. Piper's involvement in 'Mania has been speratic, as he "retired" once before coming back, and had opponents like Mr. T, Adrian Adonis and Bad News Brown. The one exception that 2K Sports could have used for the game is likely Piper's Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania VIII against Bret "The Hitman" Hart. They instead opted to go with Randy Savage's match against Ric Flair.
