Update on Allegations of Possible Sexual Harassment in NXT; WWE Conducts Internal Investigation and Finds No Wrong Doing

Nick Paglino

As we reported last week, former WWE developmental talent Briley Pierce, and former WWE star Trent Barreta alleged, via Twitter, that there was potential sexual harassment taking place in NXT. Other former WWE developmental stars, including Chase Donovan and Chad Baxter, made a similar claim recently during an interview on Kevin Matthews' "Two and a Half Wrestlers" podcast.

After speaking with WWE, Wrestlezone has been informed that there have been no sexual harassment complaints filed against any employee at the WWE’s training facility in Orlando. Instead, there have been baseless allegations made by disgruntled talent recently released by WWE. Regardless, WZ was told WWE takes these issues seriously and investigated this matter, concluding that there was no wrongdoing.
