Non-Title:

-Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/ Vickie Guerrero)

The ring ropes for the PPV tonight are half blue and half red, obviously for the Raw and Smackdown teams/colors. There’s also a red and blue side to each side of the stage. Ziggler-Bryan is now officially in progress. Daniel dominates early but Ziggler exits the ring to recover. Moments later, Ziggler is firmly in control of the match and already attempting nearfalls. Ziggler is slowing things down now, all-the-while remaining in complete control of the action. In a big spot, Bryan tries for a running dropkick on Ziggler in the corner of the ring, but misses and falls hard for his efforts. Ziggler hits a superkick for a nearfall. Bryan tries a back suplex on Ziggler off the top-rope, but while in mid-air, Ziggler reverses into a cross body. That was cool. Pace is picking up in this non-title PPV opening contest. Ziggler pins Bryan but Bryan had his foot on the bottom rope, which the caused the referee to wave off the pinfall. Bryan secures the LeBelle Lock and Ziggler taps. Vickie Guerrero and Ziggler argue with the referee after the match.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre make their way to the ring. Rhodes and McIntyre brag about how nobody wants to face them. The Raw GM says there is a team ready to face them tonight, which brings out Wade Barrett. Barrett introduces David Otunga and John Cena as their opponents for the match.

WWE Tag-Team Titles:

-Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre (c) vs. John Cena & David Otunga

Otunga is in early, but it isn’t long before he tags Cena in. The theme seemed to be that once Cena was tagged in, he refused to tag out. Otunga was less than thrilled with such a decision. Rhodes and McIntyre double team Cena for quite a while. Cena eventually fights things off and ultimately makes a comeback on both guys on his own and still refused to tag out. Cena throws McIntyre out of the ring, during which, Rhodes made the blind tag. Rhodes takes this opportunity to attempt a Cross Rhodes on Cena, but Cena manages to reverse and apply the STF. Rhodes taps. We have new champions.

Winners and NEW WWE Tag-Team Champions: John Cena & David Otunga

After The Match:

We see Otunga celebrating with both belts, despite Cena doing everything on his own to win them for his team. He eventually gives Cena one of the belts upon completion of his victory actions. Cena simply hits the Attitude Adjustment on Otunga and walks off with both title belts himself.

The Nexus make their way to the sight and begin pounding away at Taker. Kane climbs out of the grave. The Nexus hold onto Taker for Kane, allowing him to hit Taker with the urn. Taker falls into the grave. Barrett gives Slater the shovel and he begins covering Taker with dirt inside the grave. Kane tells them to leave. A bulldozer of dirt is dumped onto Taker and Kane gets the win, retaining his title.

WWE Title:

-Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett (w/ John Cena)

Wade Barrett comes out, as does John Cena. Cena gives a fan his hat. Randy Orton is out next and he is staring a hole through Cena. Barrett tells Cena that if he loses tonight, Cena is going to be fired. Slow start thus far, not a whole lot to speak of going on early. Every so often, Orton looks out at Cena on the floor. Cena had his poker face on. Orton tries the Hangman DDT on Barrett but knocks the ref out in the process. Cena jumps up on the apron. Orton pushes Barrett into Cena, knocking him on the floor. The rest of Nexus then attacks Orton. Cena clears the ring of Nexus. Barrett questions Cena why he did it, Cena explains he had to or Barrett would have been disqualified. Orton hits the Hangman DDT. Orton sets up the RKO, but as he nears it, Cena hits the ring and nails Barrett with the Attitude Adjustment. The ref calls for the bell, DQ’ing Orton. Wade Barrett wins by DQ, but Orton is still champion. Thus, Barrett’s promise that if he loses Cena is fired is a moot point. Barrett did win, by DQ, thanks to Cena even, but Orton is still champ.

Winner by Disqualification: Wade Barrett

After The Match:

Orton and Cena go face-to-face. Orton hits Cena with the RKO. Barrett seemed to enjoy that, but his enjoyment was cut short as Orton saw it and hit him with an RKO too. The announcers point out that Barrett did win but Orton is still champ. The show closes with a close-up of Orton’s typical facial expression crapola. Not the most exciting show I’ve ever sat through, I mean, paid to watch because it’s something I absolutely must watch.
