WWE Survivor Series 2010 PPV Opener:

Our PPV opens with a video package narrated by John Cena with footage of Cena as a child up until current footage of the WWE superstar. Roddy Piper commes on Raw are included as well with shots of Bret Hart, Bob Backlund, Shawn Michaels, and Bruno Sammartino. The pyro goes off in the arena starting the WWE Survivor Series PPV for Sunday, November 20, 2010. 

US Title Match

Daniel Bryan vs. Ted DiBiase (w/ Maryse)



The auditorium goes black and Ted DiBiase’s music sounds and pyro goes off as DiBiase makes his way to the ring accompanied by Maryse. Out next is Daniel Bryan walking to the ring as his music blares. DiBiase takes control early in the match dragging Bryan around the ring hitting several shoulders on Bryan. Bryan dropkicks DiBiase leaving him laying in center ring. Bryan gets a suicide diva on DiBiase on the outside of the ring.Bryan throws DiBiase back into the ring. Bryan hits a missile dropkick for the two count. DiBiase kicks out attempting to get back to his feet. Bryan with several kicks to the chest of DiBiase. Crowd begins to cheer. DiBiase gets back to his feet and waits in anticipation as Bryan turns around just in time to be clotheslined flipping Bryan. DiBiase goes for the pin to no avail. DiBiase goes for the dream street. Bryan hits a side suplex off the top rope. Bryan applies the LeBell Lock and DiBiase taps out for a submission win.



Winner: Daniel Bryan



After the Match:

Daniel Bryan makes his way back up the ramp to center stage and turns to look at the crowd one last time before making his way off stage. Rhe Miz comes out of nowhere and delivers a blow to the back of Bryan’s head with the "Money in the Bank" briefcase. The Miz makes his way to the ring accompanied by Alex Riley. Miz declares to the crowd that The Nexus and Miami Heat are a lot alike in the way that they are both mediocre and overrated. The crowd begins to boo. Miz continues that Lebron James is nothing more than Dwayne Wade’s "little sidekick". Miz finishes up by adding Wade Barrett may become champion here tonight, but LeBron James never will, and drops the mic.

John Morrison vs. Sheamus

First out to the ring is John Morrison as his music sounds in the arena. Morrison makes his way to the ring as he plays up to the crowd’s cheers. Out next is Sheamus as his music sounds and pyro goes off. Sheamus stops momentarily at the top of the ramp starring down Morrison who is standing against the ropes returning Sheamus’s glare. Sheamus makes his way down the ramp and into the ring. The bell rings and the match begins. Sheamus jumps out with the early advantage with several kicks and elbows everytime Morrison comes in for a lockup. Morrison gets back to his feet and the crowd begins to cheer but the excitement is short lived as Sheamus knocks Morrision right back to the mat. Sheamus goes for the brough kick. Morrision avoids it and retaliates with a boot to the chest of Sheamus. Morrison goes for the cover, pinning Sheamus for the win.



Winner: John Morrison

Backstage:

Camera shoot to the locker room backstage where we see John Cena getting ready for tonight’s fight. R-Truth walks in and approaches John Cena. R-Truth talks about tonight’s fight and shares his thoughts on the stipulations for tonight’s bout. R-Truth mentions that he could possible come down to ringside and "accidentally" do something that could cost Randy Orton the match. Cena gets angry and says he wouldn’t be able to look himself in the mirror if he did something like that and declares he is going to call the match as he sees it right down the middle. Truth smiles and says he’ll believe it when he sees it.

Intercontinental Title Match

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kaval

Kaval and Dolph Ziggler (accompanied by Vickie Guerrero) make their way to the ring as their music and pyro sound respectively. The music quiets and the crowd begins to cheer and chant as the bell rings and the match begins. Lots of back and forth action to start the match as both men waste no time as soon as the bell rings. Kaval begins to get the upperhand in this match blasting Ziggler with a kick in the corner. Kaval follows up with a huge twisting flip off the ropes with Ziggler moving out of the way just in time to be missed. Kaval lands on his feet and goes after Ziggler once again with an elbow to the chest. Ziggler hits the fameasser for a two count. Kaval raising his arm just in time causing the crowd to cheer. Ziggler rolls through Kaval to get the pin.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Backstage:

We go back stage to see Jack Swagger standing with interviewer Todd Grisham. Swagger is mocking Miami saying that it is a glorified Little Cuba. Cody Rhodes shows up and claims he saw Jack Swagger the night before at the club getting denied enterance. Next to show up is Drew McIntyre and Alberto Del Rio with Tyler Reks following close behind. Del Rio tells the group they should all put their differences behind them for now and worry more on taking out Rey Mysterio and his group. Del Rio brags about being the captain of their team.

Rey Mysterio, Big Show, MVP, Kofi Kingston, and Chris Masters vs. Alberto Del Rio, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, and Tyler Reks

One by one each man makes his way to the ring and awaits the remaining apponents. After everyone’s music brings everyone to the ring they all stand starring each other down. Tony Chimel introduces the men for the Smackdown match. The captains start the match off as the bell rings. Del Rio quickly retreats and tags in Cody Rhodes who comes in fired up. MVP starts throwing fists in a flurry of rage. MVP is elimnated as McIntyre pins him for the three count with the help of Alberto Del Rio holding MVP’s legs down while standing on the outside of the ring with no notice by the ref. Chris Masters is the next in but is just as quickly elimnated as he taps out by Del Rio’s submission hold. Big Show comes in next. Del Rio gets backed into his corner and without hesitation he tags in Jack Swagger without Swagger’s consent. Swagger looks fearful to get into the ring. Del Rio quickly gets out of the ring as Big Show gets back to his feet, leaving Swagger to handle the fight. Big Show tags Del Rio with a knockout punch after he tags McIntyre into the match. Del Rio is helped backstage due to his injuries in the match by the trainers. Cody Rhodes ends up in the ring with Kofi Kingston. Kofi strikes Rhodes in the face. Cody runs out of the ring and has Justin Roberts show him his face in the mirror that is sitting ringside. Cody returns to the ring just in time to be knocked out and pinned by Big Show. Swagger re-enters the ring and puts Big Show in an ankle lock. Big Show pulls himself across the ring and is able to tag in Rey Mysterio. The crowd roars in excitement as Mysterio makes his way into the ring jumping over the top rope. Kofi pins Tyler Reks. Swagger re-enters the match once again with a lot of momentum going after Kofi Kingston. Swagger is able to get Kingston into an ankle lock causing Kofi to tap. Mysterio gets to the top of Big Show’s shoulders and does a splash onto Swagger to eliminate Swagger. Now it’s just Big Show and Mysterio versus McIntyre. Big Show throws McIntyre around the ring for a few seconds and then chokeslams him and pins him. Leaving Big Show and Rey Mysterio in the center of the ring celebrating their victory.

Winner: Rey Mysterio, Big Show, MVP, Kofi Kingston, and Chris Masters

Backstage:

Interviewer Josh Matthews is waiting backstage to interview Randy Orton. Orton walks up and the crowd begins to yell as Orton says he’s sick of hearing all the hoopla surrounding John Cena. He’s tired of hearing his name and anything about him. He said he has compassion for John Cena, but he did this to himself. Orton said the match is about Barrett and whether he will be able to take a punt kick or the RKO. 
WWE Divas Championship Match
Handicap Match 
Michelle McCool & Layla vs. Natalya
 
Natalya puts McCool in the Sharpshooter and for the win. LayCool attacks Natalya from behind. Beth Phoenix’s music played and she stormed to the ring and attacked LayCool. Beth destroyed them both and then hugged Natalya. 
 
Winner: Natalya



World Heavyweight Championship

Kane vs. Edge 

Kane is introduced first as his the arena gets dark and his pyro goes off and music begins. Next to be announced is Edge as he comes to the ring. Edge returns to the backstage area and brings a wheelchair to the side of the ring. Kane looks angry while watching from inside the ring. Kane dominates the match in the beginning, Kane stops to ask when Paul Bearer is. The crowd doesn’t seem fazed but does start to chant for Edge. Kane with a boot to the face of Edge. Kane hits a sideslam for a near fall. Edge attempts to spear Kane. Kane retaliates with a boot to the face of Edge once again. Kane goes for a tombstone piledriver which Edge is able to wiggle his way out of and drops to the mat. Kane drapes his arm over Kane for the three-count.

Winner: Declared a Tie

After the Match:

Ring announcer Tony Chimel originally names Edge the new champion but after further review he says both men had their arms drapped over one-another and declares the match a tie. Kane retains the title.

Backstage:

Wade Barrett walks in and sits down next to John Cena in the locker room backstage. Barrett talks about the first night that Nexus debuted. Barrett tells Cena that he could do his job and never have to worry about The Nexus ever again. Cena says he can still recall everything Nexus has done for him in the past. HE continues by telling Barrett it is time to do what is right and he knows just what he needs to do.

WWE Tag-Team Title Match

Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater (w/ Husky Harris, David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty) vs. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov

First out to the ring is Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov as their music sounds in the arena. Both men make their way down the ramp and into the ring really playing it up to the crowd at all four corners of the ring. Out next is Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater accompanied by Husky Harris, David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty as their music sounds and pyro goes off as they make their way to the ring stopping short of the ring glarring in and then continuing to jump into the ring. The bell rings and the match begins. Santino gets one move in and plays it up to the crowd not paying attention to Slater who catches him with a quick move and the three count for the win.

Winner: Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater



After the Match:

The general manager’s email sound chimes. Michael Cole reminds Nexus that they have been banned from any WWE Championship Match. He says that if any member of Nexus interferes or makes their way to the ring, the entire group will be suspended immediately and indefinitely.

WWE Championship Match

(Special Referee John Cena)

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett 

John Cena is standing center ring in an official referee shirt and his trademark jean shorts with a Nexus armband on his right wrist. The crowd chants "Barrett sucks" but dies down quickly. Both Randy Orton and Wade Barrett make their way to the ring. Orton comes out with an early advantage as the bell rings and the match begins. Orton starts hitting Barrett in the corner, but Cena steps in and breaks it up. Orton looks angry and is eyeing Cena. Barrett takes advantage of the fact that Orton is not paying attention. Orton dropkicks Barrett. Barrett performs an elbow drop off the second rope. Cena started the count before Barrett even completely covered Orton who kicks out at two. Barrett gets another near fall and shoots Cena an angry scowl. The fight goes outside the ring. Barrett catches Orton with a kick and then a finisher. Orton grabs the bottom rope and Cena stops the count at two, Barrett goes to yell at Cena and shoves Cena who shoves Barrett into Orton who hits an RKO and Orton makes a cover. Cena counts one… two… and then stops and looks around but then counts the third for the pin and the win.

Winner: Randy Orton


After the Match:
 
John Cena takes off his referee shirt and throws it to the ground. The remaining members of Nexus come down to the ring. John Cena and Randy Orton fight them off one by one. Cena then throws his Nexus armband out of the ring. Slater picks it up and with the rest of Nexus they head back up the ramp. Cena hops out of the ring and grabs the WWE Championship belt and brings it back into the ring with him as the PPV ends.
