Will Ospreay Pulled From RevPro Show Due To Kidney Infection, Unsure About Time Frame For In-Ring Return

Will Ospreay was pulled from his buzzworthy clash with Minoru Suzuki at Revolution Pro Wrestling’s Epic Encounters event on March 22, and “The Commonwealth Kingpin” commented on the news by offering more information.

On Saturday, RevPro announced that Ospreay would be unable to compete due to a kidney infection; the company stated that it initially seemed like the popular competitor had food positioning, but his condition worsened, so he was rushed to a medical facility.

In a subsequent tweet, Ospreay apologized to the fans and stated that blood tests revealed he has a “serious kidney infection.”

When his United Empire stablemate Great-O-Khan wished him well, Ospreay wrote that he doesn’t have a time frame for his in-ring return, but once he’s back, he wants the group to “get all the gold.”

Ospreay hasn’t competed since NJPW’s United Empire: Rising Event on May 15. He is the current RevPro British Heavyweight Champion and the Warrior Wrestling Champion. “The Commonwealth Kingpin” is also a featured star in NJPW.
