GCW held their ‘Maniac’ event last night and you can see the full results of the show here.
During the main event featuring Joey Janela taking on Drew Parker there was a scary spot involving fire. Joey Janela covered his foot in gasoline and set it on fire for a superkick spot.
The crowd got very excited for the spot, however, the fire would not go out afterwards. GCW medical staff had trouble getting the fire out, pouring numerous bottles of water onto it with no luck. Janela was stomping and kicking his foot in an attempt to get the fire out as other staff swatted towels on it. The fire was eventually distinguished.
Janela commented on the events later in good spirits and poked fun at what happened. There is no word on any injuries Janela has but Wrestlezone will provide any updates as they come in.
