WWE NXT 2.0 Demo Viewership Increases On 5/17, Reaches Highest Number Since March

WWE NXT 2.0 viewership increased on May 17.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 601,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday, and NXT drew a 0.14 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.

Citing Showbuzz Daily, Thurston wrote that NXT ranked #30 in the 18 to 49 demographic among cable originals and #42 overall. Coverage of the NBA Playoffs dominated TV on Tuesday.

These numbers are up from last week, when 533,000 viewers watched the show and NXT 2.0 drew a 0.10 rating in the same demographic. Thurston notes that the demographic viewership number on May 17 was the show’s highest since March 29.

This week’s episode kicked off with a tag team match where Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams teamed up to face Cameron Grimes and Solo Sikoa. In the main event, Tony D’Angelo battled Santos Escobar. Plus, the Women’s Breakout Tournament continued with two more abouts.
