Veer On Finally Coming To WWE RAW: It Felt Great, I Gave People What They’ve Been Waiting For

Veer Mahaan says waiting so long to come to WWE RAW was worth the wait.

After WWE RAW hyped up his re-debut for several months, Veer finally arrived on the April 4 episode and dominated Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Since then, he has picked up a few impressive victories on the red brand.

During an interview with Sony Sports (via ITN), Veer reflected on his return to RAW. He stated that it felt great, and he explained that he believes that the wait generated even more energy ahead of his appearance. He then noted that he was able to give that energy, which had built up for several months, back to the fans.

“It feels great,” said Veer. “It does not feel like it was me alone who joined RAW, but 1.4 billion Indians, plus the fans all around the world have joined with me. I know we have waited for 5-6 months. But, I think the wait was worth it. It was worth it for me. It was worth it for all the fans around the world. We are seeing that energy. I felt the energy transformed, just as soon as I got my entrance, from them to me and I was able to give them back what they have been waiting for so long.”

Veer also compared his new persona to that of his first character , Rinku Singh. He described how he’s a “totally different animal” now, as he’s determined to dominate anyone who comes in his way.

“Rinku is more of a nice and down to earth,” said Veer. Veer Mahaan is totally different. When the tripund is on, he sees himself as a big Indian Warrior that is going to dominate anyone that he faces in the ring. We are talking about a totally different animal. When tripund is on, it’s game time.”

Time will tell what’s next for Veer on WWE RAW.
