Eddie Kingston Would Love To See Cesaro In AEW So They Could ‘End The Beef We’ve Had’

Eddie Kingston has a score to settle with the man formerly known as Cesaro.

During a conversation on the Wrestling Perspective Podcast, Eddie Kingston was asked if there’s anyone he’s worked with that he still has some unfinished business with. Co-host Lars Frederiksen prefaced his question by saying he wasn’t asking for any behind-the-scenes dirt, but wanted to know if Kingston felt like he wished for another run with anyone in particular.

Last month, Eddie Kingston commented on Cesaro’s departure from WWE, noting that his former rival in Chikara “didn’t have the balls” to join AEW. Now, Kingston said despite his past comments, he’d actually like to see Castagnoli show up in the company so he could end their beef, adding CM Punk to the list of people he wouldn’t mind getting another run with.

“There’s a couple people. I wish — I know I say I don’t want him at AEW, but Claudio Castagnoli, I would love for him to be at AEW because I’d get to smack the sh-t out of him. We have a lot of unfinished business. Like you said, you don’t want to know the backstage stuff, that’s fine,” Kingston pointed out, “but there’s some serious stuff between us and I would love to end it and see if he does the right thing at AEW. But again, not my show, I don’t book it.

“Definitely him, Punk definitely, at least there in AEW, so I may have another chance at that. Like you said, there’s a lot more history there to explore with Punk. I’ll get with anybody in the ring, I don’t care. The way I look at it is, you’re not going to pull out a gun, you’re not going to pull out a knife, I’m fine. I’ll be OK. I’ve had things broken before, broken bones heal, I’ll be alright. So definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, Claudio is number one and Punk’s number two,” Kingston stated, “but Claudio for sure because I want to end the beef we’ve had.”
