Miro Signs A Multi-Year Contract Extension With All Elite Wrestling

Those who have been worried about the lack of Miro on AEW Dynamite in 2022 can rest easy; he’s not going anywhere.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the former TNT Champion has signed a 4-year contract extension with All Elite Wrestling putting him with the company “until at least the start of 2026.” The two sides came to terms at the end of 2021, and pen put the paper at some point in early 2022.

Miro hasn’t competed in an All Elite Wrestling ring since AEW Full Gear, where he lost to Bryan Danielson in the finals of the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament. Miro went into this match already dealing with a hamstring injury, which is now reportedly healed.

At this time, it isn’t certain as to when The Redeemer will be returning to television, but it could happen at any point now that he’s healed up and ready to go.

It was later noted that Miro initially commented on his status on a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast.
