Dana Brooke is once again the reigning WWE 24/7 Champion; she pinned Reggie with a kiss this past week on WWE RAW to win the gold.
In a recent interview on The Zaslow Showon AM 560 Sports WQAM (Miami), Brooke reflected on her run as the champion stated that she always lives like a champion, whether she has a title or not.
“Me getting the 24/7 title has meant everything to me,” Brooke said. “Because again, I try and live my life like a champion. 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So it’s truly a blessing to have this title, have a strong man by my side that supports me, and does everything with me.”
Later in the interview, Brooke was asked about her title reign, and she explained that she “manifested” the win back in November. She described how she hoped to continue being featured heavily in WWE and inspiring people in the process.
“I’ve mentioned in the past, I’ve had my ups and downs,” said Brooke. “I’ve been with WWE, the best company ever to work for, for 10 years, and it meant everything. It’s funny, back in November, I had put a tweet out, kind of manifesting something like this, I said ‘For my 33rd birthday, I want to become champion and I want to wrestle,’ and what do you know, a week after that tweet, everything happened. The 24/7 title is just the beginning, it’s me just putting my toes in the water, getting a great feel for it, and it’s meant to be that way.
“Because, again, I live my life like a champion every single day, you might not see it, it might not be televised on TV, but it’s behind the scenes, whether I’m training, whether I’m doing community work, whether I’m on the radio…it’s a blessing in so many ways, and this title just means a lot to me, and not only that, I hope to inspire everyone out there, knowing that they are champions, too. We have 24 hours in a day to live, the moment from when we wake up, to the moment we go to sleep at night, we’ve accomplished so much, everyone is a champion in their own way.”
