Jon Moxley To Bryan Danielson: I Don’t Team With Anyone Until I Bleed With Them First

Bryan Danielson demanded an answer from Jon Moxley on the February 16 episode of AEW Dynamite.

“The American Dragon” defeated Lee Moriarty on Wednesday night, hoping to teach him a thing or two about violence. Danielson then wanted to know Moxley’s answer about his previous offer to join forces. “Mox” answered the call and looked back on an earlier chapter in his career, when he was a young wrestler who stepped up and lost to Danielson, who even then was called the best wrestler in the world. The former AEW World Champion noted that he’s never beaten “The American Dragon” over the years, but he’s been hoping to finally score a victory over Danielson now that they’re in the same company again.

Moxley admitted that he has imagined how awesome they could be if they teamed up together. He pictured their potential creation and the legacy they could leave behind, and he stated that he couldn’t think of a good reason to turn Danielson down. But then Mox wondered whether Danielson’s offer was only an act of self-preservation, as he wanted to avoid facing Moxley’s wrath. He then gave Danielson a chance; Moxley stated that he doesn’t team up with anyone before he bleeds with them first.

Mox then walked away, with the implication that he’ll face Danielson in a singles match looming large on the minds of wrestling fans all over the world.
