Josh Alexander has encountered a U.S. work visa situation. As of 2/14, the Canadian and former IMPACT World Champion announced on social media that his “contract” came to an end and so did his ability to work in the United States. Therefore, Alexander had to cancel scheduled appearances at upcoming wrestling events, mentioning TERMINUS and AML Wrestling. TERMINUS just made the match announcement earlier in the day and revealed to WrestleZone that a replacement for the bout will be announced soon.
“Today my contract expired & subsequently also US work visa,” Alexander Tweeted. “Unfortunately as a consequence I will not be able to honour my commitments to both TERMINUS & AML Wrestling later this month. I’m disappointed & I’m sorry. Hopefully I’ll have everything in order soon.”

The aforementioned contract by all liklihood is his contract with IMPACT Wrestling as Alexander was written off of television on the 2/10 episode with Scott D’Amore sending Josh “home.” Alexander competed quickly on that episode as he defeated a debuting Big Kon (formerly known as Konor from Ascension in WWE). Alexander made him tap out in short order with an ankle lock before D’Amore told him to leave.
