NWA Announces Details For 2022 Crockett Cup; The Briscoes And More Set To Compete

The Crockett Cup is officially back, the National Wrestling Alliance announced on January 31.

In a YouTube video posted to the promotion’s YouTube channel, NWA detailed the return of the prestigious tournament. It will be held on March 19 and 20 at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, TN.

16 teams will compete for the ultimate victory. As of this writing,  The Briscoe Brothers (Mark & Jay Briscoes), Strictly Business (Thom Latimer & Chris Adonis),  British Invasion (Doug Williams & Nick Aldis), and La Rebelión (Bestia 666 & Mecha Wolf) are set for the show.

NWA last held the Crockett Cup in 2019; Villain Enterprises (PCO ad Brody King) defeated The Wild Cards (Royce Isaacs and Thomas Latimer) in the finals to win the tournament and the vacant NWA World Tag Team Championship.
