Brock Lesnar Wins 2022 Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Brock Lesnar is no longer WWE Champion, but he still ended his night on top by winning the 2022 Royal Rumble match.

Earlier in the night, Brock Lesnar lost his title to Bobby Lashley in a controversial fashion as Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman colluded to cost him the title. Lesnar then entered the men’s Royal Rumble match and won from the 30th and final entry spot. Lesnar will go on to WrestleMania to face a champion of his choosing, either a rematch with Bobby Lashley or a more likely outcome with him challenging Reigns, who is still Universal Champion.

Lesnar recorded five total eliminations in this year’s match, and those were also the final five consecutive eliminations in the match. This marks Lesnar’s second Royal Rumble match win, as he also won it in 2003.
