Brody King Officially Signs With All Elite Wrestling

Brody King says the war has begun.

On Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Brody King made his highly-anticipated debut and aligned with Malakai Black, and now he is officially “Elite.” King’s arrival was teased for several weeks, but he finally appeared during a segment that involved Penta El Zero M, Black and Varsity Blonds. After the lights went out in the arena, King was standing in the ring alongside Black as Excalibur made reference to them as the Kings of the Black Throne.

King has been a regular Ring of Honor in recent years, but the promotion opted to not renew the contracts of its contract roster at the end of 2021. King also regularly competes for NJPW STRONG and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, where he and Black hold the PWG World Tag Team Championship together.

AEW made his signing official on Thursday, posting the customary “All Elite” graphic to signify that he’d signed with the company. Bodyslam’s Cassidy Haynes first reported King had signed with the company in December, and teasers for a new member of the House Of Black began to air shortly after the report.
