Jonathan Gresham To Defend The ROH World Championship Against Chris Sabin At IMPACT Hard To Kill

Better late than never, Chris Sabin will finally get his shot at the Ring of Honor World Championship as he will face Jonathan Gresham at the IMPACT Wrestling pay-per-view, Hard to Kill.

IMPACT Wrestling made the match announcement this afternoon on social media, which has been met with a great response by fans of IMPACT Wrestling and Ring of Honor alike:

The @ringofhonor champion @TheJonGresham will defend his #ROH World Championship against @SuperChrisSabin at #HardToKill!

Ring of Honor commentator Ian Riccaboni chimed in on the announcement, reminding fans that Chris Sabin earned a shot at the Ring of Honor World Championship back in 2018 but never got one due to injury:

“For those that don’t know or don’t remember, @SuperChrisSabin had earned a @ringofhonor World Championship opportunity in 2018 to cash in in 2019 before injuring his knee.

Glad to see him getting a shot! Amazing that we’ll see the ROH World Title defended on @IMPACTWRESTLING!” Ian Riccaboni tweeted.
