Tommaso Ciampa believes Bron Breakker deserves a second shot at his NXT Championship, but he hopes Breakker doesn’t “drown” like the first time. (Ciampa retained the title against Breakker at NXT Halloween Havoc.)
Ciampa challenged Bron to a second match at NXT New Year’s Evil in two weeks on January 4, but he stated state that he doesn’t believe Bron fits in “his” NXT due to his inexperience. “The Blackheart” shared this viewers straight to Breakker’s face to kick off the December 21 episode of NXT 2.0 and proceeded to say that the son of is experiencing too much too soon. Breakker responded by picking up the champion in a gorilla press and setting him down.
The powerhouse then told the champion that New Year’s Evil, the shark’s going to eat him alive.
