Scarlett Bordeaux Reveals She Was Originally Set To Manage Damian Priest In WWE

Scarlett Bordeaux was almost part of an interesting partnership when she originally arrived in WWE.

Scarlett recently took part in an autograph signing with Signing By Superstars and revealed (h/t to Heel By Nature) that she was originally set to manage current United States Champion Damian Priest upon her debut with the company.

“I don’t know if you know this, but the original plan was for me to manage Damian Priest, because we weren’t sure if Kross was going to be free,” Scarlett Bourdeaux said. “Then Kross got signed.”

Scarlett Bordeaux ended up getting signed by WWE in November 2019, but Kross didn’t get signed until February 2020. The pair had requested their respective releases from IMPACT Wrestling in the summer of 2019, but the company didn’t immediately grant the requests. IMPACT announced Bordeaux had been released from her contract in June 2019, but they didn’t release Kross until December of that year.

Scarlett and Kross were ultimately paired up in NXT, but fans were a bit confused on why they weren’t together when Kross made his Monday Night RAW debut this year. Scarlett and Kross were both released from WWE in November, and she recently made her return to the independent circuit following the expiration of her non-compete clause while Kross is waiting for his to expire on February 2, 2022.
