Kyle O’Reilly Thanks Fans For Their Support, Says ‘Smell Ya Later’

Kyle O’Reilly isn’t saying goodbye, but he is telling his fans, “smell ya later.”

The day after he lost a Steel Cage Match to Vob Wagner on the December 7 episode of WWE NXT 2.0, the former NXT Tag Team Champion somewhat addressed his future in a tweet. He expressed his gratitude for the fans’ support after Tuesday night’s show, and he also implied that, following his loss to Wagner, fans will see him again at some point soon.

O’Reilly’s WWE contract reportedly expires this week, and while his future has been unclear, it’s been widely assumed that he might be leaving the company. Images and videos of O’Reilly hugging Johnny Gargano, whose contract is also reportedly up this week, led many fans to believe that Tuesday night marked O’Reilly’s final appearance in WWE, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
