AEW Rampage Results (12/3/21): TNT Title Bout And More

On Friday Night, All Elite Wrestling delivered another edition of AEW Rampage. This week’s show featured some big matches, as Tony Nese challenged Sammy Guevara to a match for the TNT Championship. Elsewhere in the night, FTR took on PAC and Penta El Zero in a tag team match, and Jade Cargill will faced Thunder Rosa’s student, Janai Kai in a singles bout.

AEW Rampage (12/3/21) Results:

Match 1: Sammy Guevara def. Tony Nese via pinfall – TNT Championship

In what was an incredible debut match for Nese after signing his contract, he just couldn’t maintain much momentum throughout the bout. After starting out hot, Nese faltered for a bit, allowing Guevara to hit him with multiple big shots late before Nese finally woke back up. Following a moment where Nese hit Guevara with a big punch, Nese then landed a massive 450-splash off the top ropes for a near fall. Unfortunately, Nese got a bit too cocky, assaulting Guevara for a bit before trying to hit his Running Nese finisher.

Nese wound up for the move, but Guevara was able to counter it and get out of the way before hitting a running knee of his own. This dropped Nese for good, and allowed Guevara to pin the man and keep his title reign going for even longer.

Match 2: Jade Cargill def. Janai Kai via pinfall

In what turned out to be a very quick match, Cargill made absolutely short work of Kai, dropping her nearly instantly with a huge slam and covering her for the win. Following the match, Cargill continued to beat down Kai, all the while staring at Thunder Rosa, who was seated up the ramp at the commentary table.

Rosa eventually stood up and threw her headset down, and came running down the ramp and into the ring. The two began brawling in the middle of the ring, forcing officials and security members to come running down and into the ring to break things up.

Match 3:FTR def. Penta El Zero Miedo & PAC via pinfall

FTR walked out with a win after an incredible match, but things broke down fairly quickly. Late in the match, Malakai Black made his way down to ringside, where he blew his black poison mist right into the eye of PAC. After falling down, Harwood immediately covered him for the win.

Following the win, Malakai Black began assaulting PAC, clawing at his eye until he drew blood. Black then sat down in the ring with his legs crossed as the crowd and commentary team looked on in shock.
