Dante Martin is one of the hottest prospects on the deep AEW roster, and he seemingly made a major decision about his future on the November 24 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Martin previously aligned with Lio Rush, but he has been recruited by both The Acclaimed and Team Taz in recent weeks. Taz and his stable have remained determined to bring Martin into the fold, and the young star literally came to the table to negotiate with the group on Wednesday night. Taz handed Martin a contract, and though Rush initially shot down his client’s interest, the 20-year-old took initiative and put pen paper himself.
The decision clearly stunned Rush, and fans are already questioning Martin’s motives. But for now, it seems like he has willingly joined forces with Taz, Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs and Hook.
