Big E Dearly Misses The Five Count, Pitches A ‘Bangers And Mash’ Match

Leave it to WWE Champion Big E to come up with the concept of a Bangers and Mash match.

Big E recently spoke to Rebellious Noise during the latest WWE UK tour and talked about many interesting topics. During the discussion, the WWE Champion pitched a hilarious idea of a Bangers and Mash match with Tyson Fury as the host:

“Tyson Fury has definitely got to be a part of it as some kind of I don’t know maybe like the host of some sort,” Big E began. “But he needs to be wearing some outlandish costume which you know just comes with the territory. Maybe like a Bangers and Mash match? I just want to see a giant tub of Bangers and Mash, and we fight in it. Now the show’s already coming to life. I think that’s a good start, and we’ll build on that.”

Big E also admitted that he misses the five-count that he did back in NXT and would love to bring that back, but he doesn’t make those types of decisions:

“I mean, if it’s up to me, yeah. But you know, I don’t make the decisions around here,” Big E said. “I do miss the five-count. It was near and dear to my heart, and it was also like the first thing that I did in wrestling that I feel like felt special or unique. And shout out to King Kong Bundy; rest in peace the legend who I stole that from. But yes, it was a lot of fun in NXT, and I miss you dearly five-count, come back to me.”

When the idea of a triple threat match with The New Day was proposed, Big E shot that down immediately:

“No! We’ve talked about this before. And I think we’d be giggling the whole time,” Big E revealed. “Imagine me putting a headlock on Kofi. I would just be laughing like, ‘Oh, Kofi, I got you in a headlock.’ There’s so many other things that we can do as a collective together against other people. I don’t know if anyone wants to see that.”
