Backstage, Willow Nightingale speaks with Duran; she tells him she wants the Featherweight Championship. He responds by shaking her hand and saying this is the beginning of a beautiful alliance.

A brief vignette teases nZo’s looming arrival in MLW.

Jacob Fatu is in Duran’s office; Duran tells him that Samael hasn’t approved the former champion’s rematch, so it seems like there’s some tension within CONTRA.

Opera Cup Semi-Finals: Davey Richards vs. Bobby Fish

Richards and Fish square off and gradually feel each other out. Fish dodges a kick and forces Richards to land hard on the apron. They fight outside the ring, and Fish kicks Richards’ leg. Fish floors him with an elbow and a kick to the chest. Richards rallies with a knee to the gut. He grounds Fish with some holds. Richards kicks Fish, and they trade blows.

Fish takes Richards down with a Dragon Screw. Richards blocks a senton, but Fish catches him in a heel hook. Richards turns it into a Sharpshooter, and Fish rolls it into a pin attempt. Both men rock each other with kicks, and Richards traps Fish in an anle lock. A kick and a brainbuster earn Richards a two count. He makes Fish tap out to an ankle lock.

Winner: Davey Richards

With the win, Richards advances to the finals, where he’ll face TJP or Calvin Tankman. This match will air in two weeks.

Backstage, Hammerstone, Nduka and Holliday issue their final comments. Nduka reminds everyone that Duran’s key used to be used for his brother. The trio disagrees about Holliday’s status as a babyface. Atout announces that Duran has given Holliday a shot at Hammerstone’s title. “Hammer” jokingly wonders how he can ever trust Holliday again. Holliday acts out what the scene of his imagined betrayal of Hammerstone would go. “Hammer” vows to win at War Chamber, regardless of Duran’s games.

In a promo, CONTRA makes it clear that it’s not about wins or losses; it’s about pain. Samael says he has an army that will destroy MLW.
