Multiple WWE Releases On November 4 Reportedly Related To Being Unvaccinated, More Details

WWE released 18 performers from their contracts on November 4, and it would appear that one factor that led to some of these cuts is due to being unvaccinated.

According to multiple sources, including the New York Postthe Mat Men Podcast’s Andrew Zarian and Fightful Select, several of the cuts made on Thursday were related to those performers being unvaccinated.

The Post cited a source “with knowledge of WWE’s operations” that one of the reasons Nia Jax was released is that she is unvaccinated. Fightful Select offered more details on the situation, noting that WWE sources claimed “at least five” of the cuts were related to talent being “openly unvaccinated” but stressed that this was not the exclusive reason they were released. Fightful, nor Zarian, reported any specific names being connected to these reports. It was also noted that releasing talent for being unvaccinated is legal and would have restricted many of the venues that talent could perform in.
