Report: Top NJPW Star’s Contract Expires In January

Juice Robinson‘s contract with New Japan Pro-Wrestling is set to expire soon, according to a recent report from Fightful Select.

The report states that Robinson’s deal is set to expire in January 2022, so there are less three months remaining on the contract. Robinson, who is currently performing with both NJPW and IMPACT Wrestling, signed a multi-year deal with NJPW in 2019.

More recently, he has become one of the leading performers on the NJPW STRONG brand. During this time, he has also continued to compete overseas.  It’s unclear at the moment if Robinson is in talks to extend his time with with the company, but he will likely be a huge draw if he enters free agency.

Fightful Select notes that Robinson is expected to get “multiple offers” with his looming contract expiration. Robinson has thrived in both NJPW and IMPACT; he is a former IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion, IWGP Tag Team Champion, and IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
