Report: Kyle O’Reilly’s WWE Contract Expires In December

Kyle O’Reilly‘s future is up in the air, as his WWE contract is reportedly set to expire next month.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider broke the news by reporting that O’Reilly’s deal is up in December. Per Johnson’s report, O’Reilly, a three-time NXT Tag Team Champion, is internally listed as the “number two babyface” on NXT 2.0, so his departure could be a major change for the brand.

Prior to his arrival in WWE in 2017, O’Reilly starred in Ring of Honor, where he won the promotion’s World Championship, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. During his time in NXT, O’Reilly was prominently featured as a member of the Undisputed Era with Bobby Fish, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly before the group broke up earlier this year

Cole and Fish have signed with AEW in recent months, and many fans continue to speculate that O’Reilly could follow in their footsteps. For now, only time will tell what’s next for the fan-favorite competitor.

Like O’Reilly, Johnny Gargano’s contract is also set to expire in December. With both contracts coming up, the next several weeks could have a major impact on the future of NXT 2.0.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
