Rok-C On Ring Of Honor’s Future: No Matter What Happens, The Whole Roster Is Going To Thrive Somewhere

Rok-C says no matter what happens with Ring Of Honor in the future, she knows the roster will thrive.

Rok-C was a guest on Friday’s episode of Busted Open Radio and she spoke about this week’s news that Ring Of Honor will be going on hiatus in December. Rok-C, the current Ring Of Honor Women’s World Champion, shared some advice one of her trainers, Daga, gave her and said it still applies to the current situation.

“I think I was just mostly confused and then shocked. I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ It was very random, but one of my first trainers, Daga, he always made sure to tell me that wrestling is 80 percent mental and 20 percent physical, and wrestling is going to be like a rollercoaster. There’s going to be times where you’re up here, and then there’s times where you’re going to be down,” Rok-C explained, “so you just have to keep that mental part really, really strong because things always end up getting better. I feel like I’m just trying to have that mindset now.

“I feel like the whole Ring Of Honor roster is so, so talented, so I know for a fact that no matter what happens, the whole roster is going to thrive, somewhere.”

Ring Of Honor announced the promotion will be “reimagined” after Final Battle in December. The promotion plans to resume live events in April, but the roster has been released from their contracts and can start working anywhere as long as it doesn’t interfere with ROH tapings through the PPV.
