MATCH 1

AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament: Round One

Orange Cassidy defeats Powerhouse Hobbs (with Hook) via pinfall; Hobbs is absolutely dominant throughout the match, but Orange gets the hard-fought win after an unexpected roll-up when Hobbs loses his temper and confronts the referee.

The reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions, the Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero M & Rey Fenix) come out for some promo time, but they happen to see two men at ringside in FTR’s Super Frogs masks. They go out to assess the situation and unmask the bystanders, only to get attacked by FTR from behind.

MATCH 2

Non-title: AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker (with Rebel & Jamie Hayter) defeats Anna Jay via submission; Anna Jay takes it to Britt Baker despite a lot of meddling by Hayter & Rebel. Baker ultimately makes Jay tap out to the Lockjaw for the win. After the match, AEW’s resident puts Jay in the Lock Jaw again, and Tay Conti comes out for the save. Excalibur says that Conti is the number one contender for the Women’s Title, and sure enough, she holds the belt up when Baker bails.

The full bracket for the AEW TBS Women’s Championship Tournament is revealed, and it’s available here.

MAIN EVENT

PAC defeats Andrade via pinfall; the two foes deliver a very hard-hitting match, and PAC wins with an inside cradle. Right after the three count, the lights immediately go out, and Malakai Black appears in the ring. He mists PAC and attacks him, with Andrade joining in on the assault. Suddenly, Arn Anderson appears on the entryway as Cody Rhodes attacks Black from behind to set up their clash on Saturday Night Dynamite.
