Sasha Banks says the only thing holding up a potential showdown with Trish Stratus… is Trish Stratus.
Sasha Banks appeared on The Bump on Wednesday and was asked about the possibility of finally seeing a match between herself and Trish Stratus. Banks said she’s just waiting on Trish Stratus to agree to the match, adding that she’s not hard to find.
“I’m waiting for Trish, it’s all on her. I feel like she’s been dodging me, she’s been not answering my calls, I’m all game. I’m all ready, I’m always ready. I stay ready, so whenever Trish is ready for me, she knows where to find me,” Banks stated. “It’s time to rock ’n’ roll, Trish. Let’s do it.”
Sasha Banks has called out Trish for a match in the past, including when she said she’d love for the match to go down at a potential ‘Evolution 2’ event. Trish has said on many occasions that she considers herself retired after facing Charlotte at the 2019 SummerSlam event, but continues to tease a match with Banks. Trish also said she thinks the two have unfinished business with each other, but the match hasn’t come to fruition just yet.

Staying on the topic of Trish Stratus, Kayla Braxton noted that with a win at Crown Jewel, Sasha would join Trish and Charlotte Flair as the only women to have seven or more WWE title reigns. Asked how she felt to be in that company, Sasha said she didn’t know that, but she does know when she steps in the ring, she’s great.
“I barely knew that, I know that I’m a champion of many things, I know that I am a history-maker,” she noted, “but that’s just nothing new to me. I’ve been doing that since day one, so when Sasha Banks is in the ring, she’s the greatest. That’s just it.”
