Six of the seven participants in the Casino Ladder Match have been announced ahead of next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
During Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, the broadcast team confirmed that PAC, Andrade El Idolo, Jon Moxley, Lance Archer, Matt Hardy and Orange Cassidy will compete in the bout, where the winner will earn a shot at the AEW World Championship. The seventh “Joker” entrant remains a mystery.
Cassidy and Hardy were late additions; they weren’t announced until the conclusion of the main event on Friday, in which “Freshly Squeezed” defeated Jack Evans in a Hair vs. Hair Match.
This group is packed with star power, and the competitors’ accomplishments speak for themselves. Moxley is a former AEW World Champion; plus, he and Archer share the distinction of being former IWGP United States Heavyweight Champions. As of Friday afternoon, Cassidy was the top-ranked wrestler in the men’s division. Andrade is still riding plenty of momentum after he defeated PAC in a heated singles match on the September 10 episode of AEW Rampage.
During the Rampage, the broadcast team also officially confirmed the AEW TNT Championship Match between Sammy Guevara and Bobby Fish For Wednesday night.
