These days, most episodes of AEW Dynamite feel special, but the October 6 show will be particularly remarkable.
Next Wednesday, All Elite Wrestling will commemorate the second anniversary of its flagship show with a stacked lineup.
During a commerical break on the “Rhodes to the Top ” season premiere on Wednesday, newly crowned TNT Champion Sammy Guevara accepted Bobby Fish‘s challenge to a title match, and he named next week’s show as the time for this bout.
Fish regularly appeared on WWE NXT from 2017-2021, though he battled injuries during his run on the black-and-gold brand. As a member of Undisputed Era, he was a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion, and he won the NXT Year-End Award for Tag Team of the Year twice. Before he signed with WWE, Fish starred in Ring of Honor, where he was a three-time ROH World Tag Team Champion. He also won the ROH World Television Championship Once.
WWE released Fish on August 6, and he is set to compete in MLW’s Opera Cup, starting with a first-round bout against Lee Moriarty.

Elsewhere, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and the Young Bucks, representing The Elite, will battle Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage and Jurassic Express in an eight-man tag team match. Plus, the Casino Ladder Match, where the winner will earn a shot at the AEW World Championship, promises to steal the show.
Additionally, former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida will seek her fiftieth win when she faces former NWA World Women’s Champion Serena Deeb.
