Dave Bautista is a true blue babyface when it comes to rescuing dogs as the wrestler turned actor makes sure his new pup won’t “Walk Alone.” Just this week “The Animal” welcomed another animal into his home when he was made aware of an abused pitbull puppy in the Tampa Bay area. The puppy, whose name was Sage, had severe damage around her neck due to having a chain tightly wrapped around her. Bautista took to social media in hopes of obtaining more information about the abuser of the animal and offered $5,000 to whomever led to the arrest of the individual. There also happened to be a firm in Tampa as well offering an additional $5,000 for further information leading to the arrest of the abuser.

In the video below, Dave gives an update on Sage, revealing that she had to undergo surgery but now she officially goes by Penny Bautista as he reveals that he is taking her into his home. 7 NEWS WSVN out of Miami shared a brief statement from The Humane Society of Tampa Bay: “Sage, now known as Penny, now has her very own super hero and will never know pain/suffering ever again.”
