Lee Moriarty To Compete At ROH Death Before Dishonor, Updated Card

Lee Moriarty will finally compete at a Ring of Honor show at the promotion’s Death Before Dishonor event.

This week on ROH Week By Week, Quinn McKay that Moriarty was one of the three “pure” wrestlers to accept Violence Unlimited’s challenge to a six-man bout at the show. “The Apex of Combat,” representing the future of pure wrestling, will team up with John Walters (the past and LSG (the present) to take on the violent stable.

Moriarty had been scheduled in the initial ROH Pure Tournament in 2020 before it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He did not compete in the tournament once it was held later in the fall.

Walters is a former ROH Pure Champion, and LSG is currently ranked in the promotion’s Pure Division. Moriarty has worked all over the wrestling landscape; he recently competed on AEW Dark, and he has been featured on shows by AIW, GCW, IWTV, Limitless, and Warrior Wrestling, to name a few promotions. He also wrestled for MLW earlier this summer.

Due to Brody King’s spot in the World Champioship bout, it’s safe to assume Homicide, Chris Dickinson and Tony Deppen will represent Violence Unlimited in this six-man tag match.

Moriarty then commented on the announcement in a tweet and called LSG and Walters “two amazing partners.”
