Danny Burch Returns To Attack Tommaso Ciampa
Danny Burch is back in WWE NXT, and he has reunited with his tag team partner, Oney Lorcan.
In the first match on the August 24 episode of NXT, Ridge Holland took on Timothy Thatcher with Pete Dunne and Tommaso Ciampa at ringside. After Holland secured a decisive win against a game Thatcher, Ridge went to unleash more pain, but Ciampa came in for the save. “The Blackheart” began battling Dunne as well, and when the fight spilled to the outside, Burch and Lorcan came crashing into “The Sicilian Psychopath.”
The ever resilient Thatcher tried once more to fight in favor of his friend, but the numbers game was too much, so the fearsome foursome stood tall. Burch has been on the shelf since March due to a separated shoulder, and he had to vacate the NXT Tag Team Championship due to his inability to compete.

Later in the show, the commentary team announced that due to Holland’s brutal assault, Thatcher will be out of action indefinitely.
