WWE 2K22: 85% Of The In-Game Roster Has Taken Part In Facial Scanning

WWE 2K22 is moving closer to its new release date, and now we know a bit more about how far along the game is.

The new teaser trailer featuring in-game footage debuted during SummerSlam on Saturday night, and a new press release also touts more details that weren’t revealed at the time. It was noted by 2K that as of now, “85% of the in-game roster has taken part in facial scanning” for ultra-realistic and updated character models, with more than 34,000 new animations captured.

More details about the game will be revealed in January 2022, but WWE 2K22 boasts a new control layout, incredible graphics, and a redesigned engine for “the most impressive WWE 2K experience to date.”

WWE 2K22 will be released in March 2022, an adjustment from its traditional fall release and just in time for WrestleMania season.

Rey Mysterio, Roman Reigns, Goldberg, Bayley, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rhea Ripley, Finn Bálor, Ricochet and Kane are featured in the new teaser trailer, which can be seen at this link.
